DJ Hire Terms and Conditions
Insane Parties Ltd
1. Definitions
The Company / We / Us: Insane Parties Ltd, providing DJ and event entertainment services.
The Client / You / Your: The individual, company, or organisation hiring DJ services.
The Event: The agreed booking date, time, and venue for which services are being provided.
The Services: DJ performance, music provision, and any agreed equipment or lighting supplied by Insane Parties Ltd.

2. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to confirm your booking.
The balance must be paid in full no later than [3 days] before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Bookings are confirmed once written confirmation and deposit are received.
Insane Parties Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without liability until confirmed in writing.

3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations must be made in writing.
More than 30 days' notice
15-30 days' notice: 50% of total fee payable.
Less than 14 days: Full balance payable.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel, a full refund will be issued or assistance provided to find a replacement act.

4. Access, Setup & Equipment
The Client must ensure safe and adequate access to the venue for unloading and setup.
A suitable performance area must be provided, including power supply and weather cover if outdoors.
Setup typically requires 60-90 minutes; this must be factored into venue access times.
All equipment remains the property of Insane Parties Ltd and must not be moved or tampered with.

5. Performance
Start and finish times must be agreed in advance. Additional time may incur extra fees.
We will perform to a professional standard, tailored to the brief and audience provided.
The Client agrees not to request music that is discriminatory, offensive, or in breach of copyright laws.

6. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for guest conduct and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for our performers and staff.
The DJ reserves the right to end the performance without refund if exposed to abuse, unsafe conditions, or illegal activity.

7. Liability and Insurance
We carry Public Liability Insurance up to £1M and all electrical equipment is PAT tested.
Insane Parties Ltd accepts no responsibility for:
Accidents due to misuse of equipment.
Loss or damage to property not caused by our negligence.
Delays or disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., power failure, extreme weather, venue issues).

8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellation or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, civil unrest, public health emergencies, or failure of public utilities.

9. Photography and Promotion
We may take photos or videos during the event for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing prior to the event.

10. Data Protection
Your personal information is kept confidential and used solely for booking and operational purposes, in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
